Egg-Citement in HCACP Science dept

Last week students at Harris City Academy Crystal Palace had the opportunity to watch chickens hatch and develop as part of a six day demonstration in the science department.  In addition to being able to watch and hold the chicks in person students also had the option of the 24 hour ’Chicken-Cam’ web feed to keep up with the latest chicken oriented goings on.  All ten of our chicks hatched successfully in rude health and immediately set about consuming as much food as possible. 'It's amazing how fast the little chicks develop' said Courtney from 8SP.  Many thanks to the Happy Chick Company for providing the eggs, incubator and expertise to make the activity a huge success.
