Harris City Academy Crystal Palace aims to provide high quality education and training for students of all abilities and backgrounds. We emphasise traditional standards of uniform, good manners, discipline and respect whilst providing a very relevant and modern education which will enable our students to succeed in the workplace and society of the twenty-first century.

13 August 2026Brilliant A Level and CTEC Results Harris Crystal Palace students have worked exceptionally hard to achieve brilliant A-Level and CTEC results today and are celebrating securing places at amazing destinations. An impressive 48% of all A-Level entries at Harris Crystal Palace this year achieved top A*-B gradesand more than one in six of all A-Level grades were the top A*-A grades. We are equally proud that 79% of CTEC entries achieved the top Distinction*-Distinction grades. Many of our wonderful students have secured places at the top Russell Group universities (28% of those who applied to university). A particularly exceptional achievement was for Alfie who achieved A*A*A*A and is attending University College London to study Physics in October. We are also thrilled for Shayma who achieved A*A*A* and has secured a place to study Medicine at the University of Manchester. Valentine Douglas Award The Valentine Douglas Award is a prestigious award presented at Harris City Academy Crystal Palace, recognising students who demonstrate exceptional hard work, determination, and commitment to their studies. This year we are thrilled to be presenting this award to Lukasz who achieved AAA and will be studying Economics at the University of Warwick. Financed by successful entrepreneur Valentine Douglas, a former Harris City Academy Crystal Palace student, recipients financial support throughout their university degree, helping to remove barriers and enable them to fulfil their academic and professional ambitions. The award reflects Harris City Academy Crystal Palace's commitment to rewarding academic perseverance and helping students overcome barriers to success as they progress to higher education and future careers. Celebrating success Below is a selection of the brilliant outcomes we are celebrating today: Kaylin, who achieved A*A Distinction* and is going to study Digital Media and Culture at King’s College London. Deividas who achieved A*AB and is going to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering at University of Southampton. Claudia, who achieved Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction and is going on to study Media and Creative Industries at University of Warwick. Ruby, (right) who achieved Distinction*, Distinction, A and is going to study History and Politics at Queen Mary University of London. Nadia, who achieved AAB and is going to study Medicine with a gateway year the University of East Anglia. Selasie has achieved Distinction*, AB and is going to study Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick. Dante has achieved Distinction*, AB and is off to the University of Nottingham to study Economics. Carter has achieved Distinction*, Distinction*, B and will be starting a degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. Fanta, who achieved ABB and is going to study Law at the University of Birmingham. Leiona achieved Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction* and is going on to the University of Brighton to study Sport and Exercise Science. Tayo, who achieved Distinction*, Distinction, Distinction and is going to study Sport Science and Management at Nottingham Trent University.
