HCACP in top 100 for performance
HCACP has been praised by the Secretary of State for School Reform, Nick Gibb MP, for being in the top 100 non selective secondary schools in the country for the percentage of students achieving the academic English Baccalaureate qualification. The EBacc includes GCSE English, Mathematics, two sciences, History and/or Geography and a Modern foreign language. Summer 2014 saw 55% of students at the Academy achieve top grades in this group of subjects, more than double the national average and reflects the exceptional performance and curriculum offer at the Academy.
