Societies Fair

On Monday 2nd February Harris City Academy Crystal Palace’s Societies Fair took place in the Gymnasium.  The event was organised by the Head Boy, Head Girl and their Deputies along with a number of Sixth Form students, but a good proportion of the society stalls were run by lower school students.

With such a wide variety of different societies on offer from Medical, Drama, Politics, Games Programming to Feminist and Rugby to name a few, there was something for everyone.  There was a real buzz of excitement about the hall, with over 1000 students coming to browse and take part in games of Badminton run by the Badminton Society, as well as music, laughter and excited chatter filling the Gymnasium.

The event was a tremendous success with most of the societies having full sign-up sheets at the end of the Fair ready to start as the lighter evenings are arriving.
