Next Steps Event

Over 1300 visitors attended the annual careers fair at Harris City Academy Crystal Palace on Wednesday 26 March. Year 10 to 13 students and parents from across the Harris Federation had the opportunity to speak directly to a number of employers, career organisations and higher education institutions.  A wide range of universities hosted stands including many from the Russell Group plus many different occupational areas were represented including law, engineering, medicine, computing and finance.  Deputy Head Girl from Harris Academy Merton said “I have spoken to a lot of my peers and along with me they agree that the event provided useful information along with resources that we found fundamental to our progress within the academy. The talks that we attended also gave us an insight into university life”.
