Handball Club

For the 3rd consecutive year, the academy qualified for the national school's handball finals which were once again held at Nottingham University on Sunday 9th July.

Put in an incredibly tough group which included previous winners of the competition the girls remained undefeated in the group stages winning 3 games and drawing 1. This was enough to qualify them through to the semi-final where they came up against an incredibly tough Stroud High school who had a number regional and national players. Despite this the girls still played exceptionally well but unfortunately lost 7-4.

We look to build on our recent success in handball with a new handball club from September with Chelsea Handball club.
