Personal Extended Study (PXS)
At the end of the Spring term the final results of this years PXS were announced. Based on the theme of ‘London’ students were asked to use their creativity and independent study skills to plan, design and create a unique piece of work. The Academy has been running a PXS competition for the past three years, and this year the standard was the highest it has ever been. Many students are rightly proud of the work they have accomplished, with displays boards around the Academy exhibiting the best entries. Faculties voted on the best PXS from each faculty with the overall winner being selected from these. Congratulations to Henry Angus (7AA) for his winning entry; he received the PXS trophy and an Ipad2. The full list of winners were:
Best in Academy: Henry Angus (7AA)
Best in Faculty winners: Chuek-Sum Chan, Jodie Keefe, Livia Wong, Georgie McKeown, Abdur Sheikh.
Best in Year winners: George Wilson, Olivia Carvall, George McNaughton, Maryan Dahir.
