Maisie Chan visits HCACP

Year 7 has a visit from award winning author Maisie Chan to talk about representation in her book "Danny Chung does not do Maths" and what it is like to be an Author and the writing process. Year 7 asked Maisie some very thoughtful and interesting questions such as how she comes up with ideas for her books and how she researches different cultures of the characters in her books.

Our lucky Reading Champions got more time with Maisie to ask questions and received a signed copy of the book.  Thank you to the Book Trust for gifting every pupil a copy of the book to take home and read.
