Royal Albert Hall Trip
On Wednesday 12th February, 30 Year 9 and 10 Music and Drama GCSE students went to the Royal Albert Hall for an Events Management Workshop, looking at jobs in the arts and events industry. The students were given a tour around the Royal Albert Hall getting to see backstage, experience the boxes and meet many members of staff from the Royal Albert Hall who had a wide range of jobs which helped to bring the Royal Albert Hall together. The students then got to combine all of their learning and had to pitch an event to two senior members of staff at the Royal Albert Hall and receive industry feedback.
All the students had a great day and got to learn lots about the arts industry and the types of jobs on offer to them outside of performing or composing.
