HARRIS CITY ACADEMY CRYSTAL PALACE CELEBRATES 'EXCEPTIONAL' GCSE RESULTS
Students at Harris City Academy Crystal Palace are celebrating after receiving excellent GCSE results.
Overall, 89% of students achieved A*- C, or grade 4 and above, in the new numerical grading system in Maths and English with 9% of students gaining the new ‘super grade’ 9.
The Academy also saw a significant increase in its EBacc score, which increased from 47% in 2016 to 58% this year. This is well above the national average, which was 23% in 2016.
Amongst the success of the Academy as a whole, there were a number of individual successes, with fourteen of the Academy’s students achieving A*- A grades in 10 or more subjects:

Katherine Cumberbatch, Principal of Harris City Academy Crystal Palace, said:
