Trip to Chinatown

On Tuesday 15th July a group of Year 10 students went on a trip to Chinatown in London.  After arriving in Chinatown, the students set out in groups to ask local residents questions about the area.  They then visited various shops and restaurants where they could try and buy Chinese snacks and foods.  For some of the students, this was the first time they had tried Chinese food!  The final activity of the day was a visit to a popular Chinese library where students were given Chinese library cards and given the opportunity to browse Chinese books and magazines.
