Business Studies

Studying business and enterprise has become more popular over recent years as young people have responded to the national attention on entrepreneurship as a viable career path. Its ability in an increasingly globalised world to improve the standard of living of many people in society through either the creation of new businesses and/or the growth of existing ones really excites our students.

Our curriculum is therefore designed to provide them with the knowledge and tools that they need to be effective in either scenario once they leave school. The increase in enrolment has attracted students from a range of starting points: from those who are high prior attaining students and have studied the subject previously to those who are lower attaining and have never studied the subject before.
